The 2024 Honda Odyssey is a minivan that can transport large families. Its wheelbase measures 118.1 inches, which is just 2 inches less than the longest family SUVs in America. Honda claims that the total length measures 205.2 inches. The front has a small overhang, but there is plenty at the rear. The base LX model measures 68.1 inches high, while the rest measure 69.6 inches. All models measure 78.5 inches in width. The LX trim weighs in at 4,398 lbs, while Elite, the most expensive, is 4,603 lbs.

The potential for rattles in a vehicle with so many seating is high. Honda has high standards. We didn’t hear any rattles.

The 2024 Honda Odyssey is equipped with a 3.5-liter V6 naturally-aspirated engine. The front wheels receive the power. The Toyota Sienna and Chrysler Pacifica both offer all-wheel drive as an option. This is only an issue in cold-weather states as minivans will not require extra grip.

A ten-speed automatic transmission drives the engine. This is despite its size and weight. Independent tests show that the Odyssey can accelerate from 0-60 mph in just seven seconds. It doesn’t matter that much, but it’s standard in the minivan segment.

The towing capacity for all models is 3,500 lbs. This isn’t enough for large campers, but it gives you plenty of pulling power for small boats or trailers. This application would have been ideal for an AWD system.

2024 Honda Odyssey Release Date And Price

The Odyssey range starts at a very affordable $32,090. The EX trim is available for $35,490 while the EXL model retails at $38,760. The top-spec Elite is priced at $47,820, while the Touring comes in at $42,800. These prices do not include Honda’s $1,175 destination fee.
